My Baby Registry Must-Haves

When I started my baby registry, I was SO overwhelmed! There are so many different products out there, and I didn't know where to start. People always tell me that “every baby is different, and you don’t know what they will like or not like,” but I still wanted to try my best to put things on there that I would use. So, I spent hours researching every product to develop a registry that I feel really good about. In addition, I tried my best to put only organic and non-toxic products on my registry. You’d be surprised how many toxic chemicals are in most baby products! I didn’t do this with every product, but I tried my best.

I also used Babylist for my registry because it’s super user-friendly and easy to use. Adding items is seamless, and you can add items from all different stores. They also show all the different options and prices for buying each item. For example, if a product is sold on Amazon, Target, and BuyBuy Baby, you can see all the options and choose where you’d like to purchase it!

I hope you find this helpful! Happy shopping! 🙂

Feeding

So many of my friends have recommended this chair! It’s on the pricier side but I love that it can be used until they’re toddlers!

Be sure to get all the necessary accessories: Stokke Tripp Trapp Baby Cushion & Stokke Tray

I debated whether or not to add this to my registry because an infant obviously won’t be eating solids yet. But a friend of mine said she liked it because she could have the baby at the dinner table while the family ate! Others also said it was just nice to put the baby in there and have them at a higher level when they do things in the kitchen, etc.

Lalo seems to be one of the top brands when it comes to feeding infants and toddlers! I also love how these bibs catch the baby’s food when they’re eating!

I didn’t realize until I started my registry that you can’t put bottles in the dishwasher (due to bacteria). Therefore, this Baby Breeza Sterilizer will help make sterilizing the bottles easier. I also love its size so you can fit pacifiers and other accessories.

I want to make my baby’s food at home, so this will make it a lot easier. It’s one of the top rated and recommended brands

Having a bottle warmer is a nice convenience. It warms the milk up to the perfect temperature and can even warm up frozen milk!

I have an island in the kitchen, so I will have the baby sit and eat in this chair sometimes. This chair is perfect!

Other Feeding Items On My Registry:

Bottle Brushes

Muslin Burp Cloths

For wearable pumps, I debated between the Momcozy, Williow, and Elvie brands. After doing my research, I concluded that they are all pretty similar, except that the Momcozy is about 1/3 of the price!

I’m also getting the Spectra S1 as my main pump, however it’s not on my registry because I’m getting it through my insurance!

Believe it or not, this $25 hand pump is powerful! It’s pretty small and convenient for travel, plus I hear that you can get a lot of milk out of it!

I only wanted glass bottles because plastic bottles are toxic, but I was worried about them breaking! I’m so glad I discovered this brand, which has glass on the inside and plastic on the outside! Plus, they’re anti-colic.

I added the different nipples to my registry as well: Duo Hybrid Baby Bottle Nipple Stage 1 (0+), Duo Hybrid Baby Bottle Nipple Stage 2 (3m+), Duo Hybrid Baby Bottle Nipple Stage 3 (6m+)

I chose this nursing pillow because it is made out of organic materials.

Sleeping

The Nanit baby monitor is by far the most recommended monitor. It provides crystal-clear HD video and helps track your baby's sleep so you can always keep an eye on them and know how they're sleeping. The monitor has tons of great features and provides really helpful insights into the baby’s sleep patterns on its app.

As a first time mom, I know I’m going to be a little bit paranoid while the baby is sleeping. The Owlet Dream Sock gives you live health readings and notifications, so you can easily keep track of your baby's well-being and have peace of mind.

A friend highly recommended this to me! She said it’s great for travel so the baby can sleep peacefully without the distraction of light. You can use my code HEYGORJESS for $20 off, valid June 28-30.

I read great reviews about this Travel Crib & Playard! It’s great for hanging out doors, the beach, and travel! I also love that it is made out of non-toxic materials.

I also put the following accessories that go with it: Lotus Fun Crib Shade

Lotus Organic Fitted Sheet

Moms On Call Swaddle Blanket

I read the Moms On Call book, and they give really great recommendations on sleeping! They say that the key to the correct swaddle is having a big enough blanket. Therefore, I will be using theirs!

I also added the noise machines that they recommend as well below:

I was really surprised to learn that many crib mattresses contain a lot of toxic materials! So, I researched the best organic one, and I’m really happy with this one!

I also added the accessories below:

Waterproof Organic Crib Mattress Protector Pad

Burts Bees Fitted Organic Cotton

 Crib Sheet

I really want a bassinet that is RIGHT next to the bed so I can be as close to the baby as possible, without bed sharing.

Diapering

I heard that this is one of the best changing pads out there! I love that it’s impermeable to fluids, so the soft-to-the-touch changer needs no additional sheets or pads. The solid surface also limits the chance for bacterial growth.

I researched the best non-toxic diaper brands and Coterie won me over! They are also highly absorbent.

This is one of the best car seats/strollers on the market right now! It is super convenient because it seamlessly transforms from a car seat to a stroller with no extra parts! It’s perfect for both daily activities and travel! (Keep in mind that it can’t be used once the baby is over 35lbs).

This swing mimics the natural movements of parents, helping to soothe and entertain your baby with its multiple motion settings.

This one isn’t motorized, but it is highly recommended. It offers a gentle, natural bouncing that soothes your baby without batteries or cords. Also once the baby gets a little older, cane to bounce their-self!

The Solly Baby Wrap lets you carry your baby close while keeping your hands free, making it super convenient. I will probably use this a lot around the house.

This carrier is more of a heavy duty one! It’s good for when you plan to baby wear for longer periods of time.

Bathing

This tub grows with your baby, offering three different stages of use. It’s also made of non-toxic materials!

This is an excellent bath for your baby’s first few weeks. It can be used when they are super small and placed in the bathroom sink! It’s also free of BPAs, Phthalates, and PVC.

Not only is this crib stunning, but it is super functional. It is designed to grow with your baby using an included toddler bed conversion rail. It can be used until your child is 5 years old!

I know I will be spending a lot of time in the nursing chair, so I chose one that is super comfortable. I also love how large this one is because I’ll still be able to use it when my baby becomes a toddler!

Both the Deluxe+ Dock and Snuggle me are very popular. However, I have friends that say that their baby preferred one of the other! Therefore I decided to put both on my registry since I’m not sure which one they will like.

Similar to the Deluxe+ Dock, the is designed to hug your baby's body and creates a cozy space for your baby to lay and play.

This will be used to put all of my postpartum essentials in. I’ll keep it next to my bed and put essentials in for breastfeeding, changing diapers, and more.

Other Nursery Items On My Registry:

Foldable Cloth Storage Drawer Organizers

Playing

This play gym is both simple and engaging, helping to promote your baby’s brain development. It contains different colors and textures for your baby to observe. I really like Lovevery’s products because they are intentionally made to help your baby learn and grow.

This offers over 25 activities to keep your baby entertained! It’s also designed to grow with your baby and can be used during different ages and stages of development.

Since traditional walkers are no longer recommended (due to safety reasons), I wanted something that can help and encourage my baby to walk!

These boxes are curated to allow your baby to learn and play at every stage. I personally know a few parents who have used these boxes, and they believe that they have helped their children learn and develop quicker.
