Naturalicious Morrocan Rhassoul Clay Review

So I have a pretty cool review for you beauties! Naturalicious sent me their Morrocan Rhassoul Clay to review and I really like it! Some of you might have heard of using a Bentonite Clay Mask to clarify your hair. Well, this is very similar except it uses Moroccan Lava Clay instead which is also very popular amongst naturals. It contains silica, magnesium, iron, calcium, and potassium and it removes excess toxins, impurities and buildup . I've never tried to use any type of clay to clarify-- mostly because I don't feel like dealing with the mess lol. I have even stopped using Apple Cider Vinegar to clarify because using a premade sulfate-free shampoo or a conditioner is just so much easier and convenient. So that is why I decided to give this product a try because it's already made! No measuring and no mess!So let me tell you a little bit more about this product. It is sulfate free, paraben free, gluten free, mineral oil free, and cruelty free. So it is super natural that's for sure lol. It also has cocoa butter and olive oil which is very moisturizing (an essential for me). I gave it a try and I was pleasantly surprised by the results! And I say surprised because I have to admit I was a little skeptical because it claims to be a 5-in-1 treatment. It cleanses, conditions, detangles, deep conditions, and leave-in conditions. For me I'd say it did 3 out of the 5, which is still pretty good.1. Cleanse- It was definitely very clean after and got rid of any product buildup I had.2. Condition- I didn't use a conditioner when I used this (which I was afraid of doing lol) but my hair was still very soft and shiny after only using this. So it did the trick.3. Detangle- My hair was very easy to detangle. This product doesn't have slip-- but it clumps the hair making it easier to comb through. It also can be used as a deep conditioner if left in your hair for a longer time or used with a hooded dryer or huetiful steamer. I didn't try it for that though but I will next time I use it.As far as a leave-in-- I needed to use a separate leave in that is more creamy. But thats okay, I wasn't expecting that. It already does alot lol and I am very particular with my leave-ins.The only cons I have for this product is that it doesn't smell great-- it literally smells like clay lol. But that is also a good thing because there's no added artificial ingredients to add fragrance. Also it is a little pricy --$20.00. But you are getting multiple products in 1. So that helps to even out the price a little bit. Here is how my hair looked after using it:All in all I am very pleased with this product. I am not positive if it will become one of my staples yet, I still need some time to play with it. But I think I will be using it once a month to clarify in between co-washing and when I don't want to use a sulfate-free shampoo. It is definitely healthier than most shampoos and most likely less drying, so it would be a better alternative.Try it out! You can get it from Whole Foods or their website, www.naturalicious.net.Xoxo,
