How to Achieve A Blow Out Without Heat Damage

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 presetMerry Christmas Eve everyone!!! This is my favorite time of year! Anddd it's also the perfect time to get a blow out! It's such a great Holiday look!Processed with VSCOcam with f2 presetMany of you have been asking me about my hair since it's obviously not my regular wash n' go. But this look is actually super easy to achieve! All I did was go to the Dominican hair salon and get a roller set! They washed, conditioned, and then put my hair in rollers.Processed with VSCOcam with f2 presetI sat under the dryer for 45-60 minutes and it came out just like this! No direct heat! The only direct heat they put on my hair was to blow out my roots a TINY bit. They just went around my edges a little, but they didn't even put it on my whole head. So I've been able to get this blow out look without the risk of getting heat damage! I love it. I also love that it gives me a new look and its easier for me to manage, especially in the winter.Only thing you have to be careful about is how they handle your hair. Most of these salons aren't used to natural hair, so they can be a little rough! I have learned which stylist are gentle with my hair and which ones aren't. That's really important because I don't want them breaking my ends. I also detangle my hair myself before I go to them so that it is easier for them to wash and less manipulation. As far as the products they use, they aren't "all natural" or anything. But I'm fine with that because they use a lot of silicon based products which actually works great for straightened hair. It leaves my hair so smooth and shiny. And that's it ! Pretty easy right? Let me know if you get a blow out too! Tag me in the pics so I can see!Merry Christmas!Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset Xoxo,  jesssig
