After a long, cold winter it is finally starting to feel a lot like spring! This is one of my favorite seasons. The weather starts getting warmer, the days are longer and brighter, and the flowers start to bloom. Just like every new season, it is an opportunity to start fresh. What better way is there to bring it in than getting some new clothes to spruce up your wardrobe and get the very maxx out of your spring?
The other day I went shopping at one of my favorite stores, T.J. Maxx because I know I can always find beautiful, high-quality, brand name clothes and shoes while still getting the most bang for my buck. People always ask me where I shop and they are always surprised to know that I don’t spend tons of money on clothes! I always try to get the best deals possible. T.J. Maxx is one of the stores that really helps me “maxximize” my budget. So I was able to find some super cute gems to brighten up my closet and get me in the spring mood.
Throughout the winter I usually only stick to neutral tones such as black, gray and nude, but in the spring I am the complete opposite! Color is more fun and fitting for the season. It’s hard to stay away from it! So I bought this adorable printed tribal dress for only $19.99. I love these bright colors that instantly get me in the spring mood. The fit of the dress is also perfect. It’s tighter at the top and loose and flowy at the bottom making it really flattering.
Now let’s talk about these shoes! I chose a neutral tone to keep the look bright. I could have gone with black since there are some black accents in the dress, but I feel like that would have made it look less springy. So these shoes were the perfect pair to complete my look. I’ve also been pretty obsessed with this strappy style and I’m glad I was able to finally find what I’ve been looking for! The best part is that I can definitely dress these down with a pair of denim jeans or even shorts to wear them over and over again! The outfit combos are truly endless and I only had to spend $39.99 for them!
I hope these new pieces inspired you to start maxxing spring like it did for me! I’m so excited to start enjoying this new season :).
