If you’ve been following me for awhile you know that I’ve been on somewhat of a fitness journey for the past 9 months or so. I’ve always been pretty in shape both naturally from a fast metabolism and athletic build to being active in middle school high school. I was on the swim team and basketball team in middle school and I ran track in high school, so I was really fit. When I went to college I kept up with working out somewhat, but when I graduated I basically completely fell off. Work and “life” itself seemed to get in the way. However I started to become unhappy with my body because of it. I “liked it” — it was decent. But I just knew it wasn’t the best it could be and I wasn’t at my full potential. I knew I could LOVE it and have full confidence if I really worked out and took my fitness seriously.
A few months ago I started juicing in addition to blending and I love it. I really enjoy all the different types of juices I can make! So I wanted to share with you one of my favorites that I created so far. It is simple, loaded with tons of nutrients, and super yummy!
So this week I finally got my very first juicer!! Ahhhhh! I’ve been wanting one foreverr and then when I finally ordered one, I had to wait two weeks for it to be delivered! LOL. (I bought the Dash Slow Tall Squeeze Juicer on Groupon! It was originally $279 but I got it for $99! Super good deal! Unfortunately the deal isn’t on anymore). So when I finally got it I was super excited! If you follow me on instagram, you can see that I’ve been juicing like crazy ever since I got it. It has made me even more health conscious! I make juices along with my green smoothies now! But a lot of people are wondering whether they should juice, or blend. My answer is both! Here’s why:
